I came in 2nd Place (out of 10 People)!
This was my first year playing Fantasy Football for real. It was awesome. At first, I knew very little about the ins-and-outs of this game, but by the end, I was a pro.
And I proved it by finishing 2nd and winning $250 for our league.
I’m really proud of all my players, but I want to highlight a few real stand outs:
*Andre Johnson was the MVP of my team. He stepped it up in almost every game, and proved to be the league’s best receiver, given that he has almost no QB talent on his side.
*Anquan Boldin gets points for playing while injured. He had some big games, and some not-so-big games, but the fact that he took to the field was a victory in itself.
*Visanthe Shiancoe was a TE who I picked off waivers, and he over-delivered. His skills peaked in the championship game, when he caught two touchdowns. Wasn’t enough for me to win, but he sure did his part.
Next year, I plan on dominating in this game. I will win the big prize.
