What’s My Secret to Getting In Shape?
Everyone asks me why I am able to drop pounds so easily. The answer is that losing weight is easy to begin with, so I am just the fortunate recipient of Nature’s user friendliness.
But here are the tips that have allowed me to shed about 40 pounds so far this year:
- Eat 1500 - 1800 calories per day, six days a week. Enjoy Saturday.
- Make sure that a large portion of those calories are from protein.
- Go for a jog at least four days a week. Walk to work on days you take off.
- Drink lots of water. Cold water gets you bonus points.
- Coffee gives you energy and supresses appetite, and it gets you re-focused on your job instead of your eating. It has a dehydrating effect, which is bad, but not enough to outweigh the other benefits. Just follow rule #3 at the same time.
- Eat five smaller meals per day, instead of two or three big meals.
- Only eat whole wheat bread or beans for your carbs, and do so before noon.
There you have it. With those seven secrets, you will be the skinniest boy in school, and everyone will respect you more.
