Jake and I were having a long conversation about politics and leaders, and everything came to a head with the broaching of Rasputin, the teriffying Russian monk.  What’s really strange is that  Jake made this point  while walking by a store called Rasputin Music.
He insists that he did not see the sign, and at best, made a subconsious association between the two. I have trouble believing him, but he was really freaked out, and I have no reason NOT to believe him. This picture was taken against his will, because he said that he was frazzled and did not want to be photographed while really freaked out. Oh well, he owns neither my camera, Powell street, the record store, nor the sun’s rays, so he did not get his way.
